Stainless steel check valve

Wafer type oscillating disc check valve (can be manufactured with flanges upon request). One-piece cast iron body with internal conical shape that provides an easy evacuation of the solid particles contained in the flow. Distance between faces according to the standard. An arrow on the body indicates the flow direction. Can be supplied with an auxiliary spring for faster closing.

Standard materials of construction for the body in CF8M stainless steel and A216WCB carbon steel (starting from DN250). Standard materials of manufacture for the disc are CF8M stainless steel and A216WCB carbon steel. When the valve is manufactured in CF8M stainless steel, the seal is CF8M in the body and CF8M in the disc. When the valve is manufactured in A216WCB carbon steel, AISI 304 stainless steel is used on the sealing surface, both on the body and on the disc. AISI 316 shaft for valves manufactured in CF8M stainless steel, and AISI 304 shaft for valves manufactured in A216WCB carbon steel.

For high water loads or large valve diameters, hydraulic cushioning systems can be incorporated to reduce the impact of the valve on closing. The R check valve allows the passage of the fluid in one direction only, it opens by the fluid passing through it and closes by the weight of the disc itself and the return of the fluid.
