NPT threaded ball valve − serie S20/FS20

Bray’s Series 20/FS20 one-piece reduced port threaded ball valves deliver exceptional reliability in a wide variety of harsh industrial ball valve applications, such as oil and gas facilities, with NACE MRO175 compliance for corrosive environments including sour gas applications (H2S - Hydrogen Sulfide) SSC (Stress Corrosion Cracking) and optional API 607 Fire Safe certification (FS20).

Series 20/FS20 reduced port threaded ball valves feature high-quality investment cast stainless Steel bodies marked with foundry heat numbers for full traceability. The one-piece body also minimizes the number of potential leak paths and simplifies replacement of seats and seals, for easy maintenance and extending valve service life. S20/FS20 threaded ball valves also feature a bottom entry blowout proof stem and Live-loaded, self-adjusting stem seals that automatically adjust to compensate for changes in wear and temperature, ensuring low operating torque and high cycle life.

S20 threaded ball valves feature RPTFE seats and seals, and vinyl coated stainless steel safety latch handles and are fully NACE MRO017 compliant. FS20 threaded ball valves are rigorously tested and certified to API 607 fire-safe rating, featuring FPTFE seats, adjustable graphite stem and body seals to prevent external leakage in high-temperature conditions. Series FS20 series valves also feature an anti-static device that grounds the ball and stems to the body, preventing static electricity build-up where static discharge hazards exist and NACE MRO017 compliance.

In the event of a fire, after the primary RPTFE resilient seat is destroyed by heat, the ball contacts the backup metal seat to form a secure metal-to-metal seal. This secondary metal seated seal ensures continued operation.

Size range: 1/4" to 2". Temperature range: -46ºC to 232ºC. Maximum allowable operating pressure: 137 bar. Optional oval handle: an optional oval handle is available for operator preference.
