The bottom entry, blowout proof stems is ASTM A479 Type 316 stainless-steel. Series 70/90 valves also feature an adjustable packing gland for secure sealing, stainless steel safety latch handles and body castings marked with foundry heat number for full traceability.
Series 70 two-piece Cast carbon steel bodies are normalized, and black phosphate coated for added corrosion resistance. Series 90 two-piece cast Stainless steel bodies are investment cast and solution annealed for the highest quality and added strength.
